The short answer is, "it depends". Only you know what you're looking for.

On the other hand the link above is a good place to start. Your best bet is to just start reading through forums, etc. Sadly there is just so much info here that finding a short-cut is pretty much near impossible.

So just keep pluggin' away at these threads.

Are you using TF3D? usually find your theme ,right click it and set as back ground

its late and im bored...so instead of pointing u in the direction of threads for u to read and shift thru ill take alittle time to post a few cabs for u that i feel are must haves for the pro...and some that are must haves for any ppc...
starting with this tweak program...with this u can make adjustments to things u like and dislike on the phone real easy without having to do reg edits...any problems feel free to post...

EDIT: WARNING: if u use this app...there is a tweak within the program where it gives u the option to enable cleartype in landscape mode...do not do this...I REPEAT DO NOT do this...for some reason once this is enabled u cant see what ur typing during a text message, instant message nor while on the internet...not sure why it does it but it does...so just leave that option unchcked...everything else works great with this app and its still a must have

this is a system clean up program...cleans bad shortcuts..reg errors etc...also frees up ram and keeps ur device running smooth...so if u feel ur device is slowing down has lag or anything run this...i run this every few days but i install and uninstall programs all the time...so if ur adding and removing alot of different stuff on ur phone it may be wise to run this more often...

i find the stock white calculator skin to be dull and boring...so if ur like me and wanna spice it up alittle...u may like this...its a black skin

hey man wish i could help...but i have never owned a treo and dont kno the 1st thing about them...is that the newest one? its windows mobile right? id say try it if its windows mobile...but if not u might wanna ask somebody who knows for sure...lol..sorry man wish i knew more about treos but i dont...

here is a backup program i use...its a good thing to have to backup ur contacts onto ur storage card incase u ever have to hard reset away from home or something this will put them back onto ur phone without having to connect to ur computer

here is another clean-up program...i have this along with the other one on my phone...i run them both...this one has a few more options on it then what the other one does...alot of ppl on here from what i have seen have both of these...

here is a texas holdem tourney timer for ur pro...i used it on my mogul and now using it on my pro...u can set this for the entire tourney...the blinds the time and everything...

if u dont like the color of a certain thing on ur phone...text, title bar, tap and hold dots etc...use this program to change it to whatever color u want

some of the programs u will run into will require u to have a newer version of compact.net framwork then what is on ur phone in order for them to work...so b4 u run into that problem install compact .net framwork 3.5...

im having problems uploading the cab for ya but u can download it from this thread here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42730...also lots of other useful stuff in there that i wont be posting here ....

i.e the Sprint flip clock is a cab file, all you do is drop it in your memory card, go to file explorer,locate it and hit it, cabs work like apps,it will run and ask you where you want to install. I do not use TF3D but I am positive you will need to drop it in Windows..

and yea i am a pretty cool dude...lol

i dont run touch flow 3d anymore either...i needed a more professional look...i run spb pocket plus...but i am gonna post everything they will need to customize tf 3d...i may even post the cabs for pocket plus and mobile shell...but since we cant post warez then they will expire in 15 days...but atleast they can try ait and see if they like it or not...

make sure u downloaded compact .net framework 3.5 from the thread i linked to above in order for this to work...this is a customizer u will need to make any changes to touch flow 3d...icon, sliders, top and bottom bars and clocks can all be changed using this program...there are couple of each in this itself...and ima add all the ones i have collected in another post...

ah man...the steelers??? the road to the superbowl goes thru the indianpolis colts this year...the steelers are tough but i think we have their number lol...now the bolts...they scare me...we make it past the bolts we should sail right on into the bowl...

llike i said i dont use TF 3D anymore...but i still have all the custom stuff i collected for it untill i stopped using it,...im sure there are lots more out there since i went to pocket plus...but with the collection i have there are about 30 different ones so it will more then get u started...so here is what i have...

now i kno someone is going to ask how to use these so ima list the steps...download the file...unzip it...there is the clock folder inside...take it out of the original folder...then drag and drop each one from the folder on ur pc into the clocks file on ur device...u cant drag and drop the entire folder at once cuz they wont work...the file should be easy to access file explorer/storage card/program files/manila customizer/clocks...any problems feel free to PM or post here and ill see if i can help

here is all the bottom curtains i have...only a hand full...
install these the same way as the clocks...into the bottom curtains folder

the sliders...some of these i like...some of them i would never use lol...but everyone has different taste...there are about 50 different ones in here i think...
again...same way just drop these into the sliders folder

now i know there are alot more icons floating around then what i have in this collection...but i still have about 30 in here...
i tried to put all the clocks icons sliders etc into one big zip for ya to save u some searching but there are lots that i dont have since i dont use them anymore...so here is a thread at xda that has the ones i provded along with others...just shift thru the ones they have that i didnt provide ya and download what u like...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=436867

once u get comfortable with ur device and wanna have it perform at its max u may wanna do reg edits to adjust certain things to make it better and faster...here is a common reg editor that i use...along with a link to a thread here http://67.228.199.237/forum.ppcgeeks...ad.php?t=42141 for a list of mods u can do along with step by step instructions

here is a flashlight program for ur phone thats floating around here somewhere...i dont remember what thread i got it from tho...but anyways its a simple yet usefull app...u tap the icon to turn the light on and tap the icon to turn it off...it uses ur camera flash LED as the light...

its 3:30 am here in indy and im done with this for tonight..ill post more in the morning..HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!
