Re: Hands Over Speaker?
Well, to point out the obvious: When you put your hand behind the speaker, the phone doesn't get louder. It's just that the sound that was supposed to travel in that direction is now "bouncing" off your hand and going towards you. Your speaker has the same volume.
A cab couldn't possibly produce the same effect... |

Re: Hands Over Speaker?
If you are within your 30 days I would exchange it if the cab isn't working.

Re: Hands Over Speaker?
I think I'm gonna close this one down. And here's my thinking.
1. If the cab didn't work for you then try reinstalling it. 2. If you are very dissatified with the speaker volume and within your 30 days of purchase, I'd do what Beejis suggested and return it. 3. Putting your "hand over the speaker" is not having a physical effect on the speaker itself. It's merely re-focusing and re-distributing the sound waves. That's why you cup your hands around your mouth when you want to yell at someone who is far away. 4. My wife likes it when I cup her "speakers". late, Coz
