Are you referring to programs like S2U2? The point is to have a nice looking screen lock application. It's not meant for actual data security, but rather prevent yourself from messing with something on your phone when you don't mean to (or pocket dialing)

Re: Which Screen Lock Are You Using?

Personally, I never leave my phone laying around except at home. I have no need of a security lock. I just wanted something that would allow me to keep my phone in the holster while driving and allow me to place and receive calls, msgs etc without hanging up on the person or sending crazy txt replies....

Re: Which Screen Lock Are You Using?

S2U2 for me. I kept dialing people on accident or answering calls while the TP was in my pocket. S2U2 fixed that issue.

Re: Which Screen Lock Are You Using?

Well I Have been Using Pocket Shield the last couple of days and now im starting to have issues with touchflow 3d launching crashing. Maybe a software conflict with something I have loaded. Outside of that it seems similar to sensor lock in some ways. Strangely I found sensorlock to give me less issues as i found out the gesture issues where my own fault.

Re: Which Screen Lock Are You Using?

I am a master at pocket dialing. If there is a way for it to happen, my pocket will eventually figure it out. yes my pants even figured out how to get around S2U2

I am currently using toucklockpro and I have disabled the triple tap to unlock (and running in "stealth" mode), so the only way to unlock is with stylus removal. When I am at my desk, I just leave the stylus out effectively disabling the lock function. When I am on the move, I never have to worry about pocket dialing (and have to remember to remove the stylus when answering a call)

Are there any other pocket dial proof locks out there? I will look into pocketshield but free is a hard price to beat.

Re: Which Screen Lock Are You Using?

i also use pocketshield. seems great.

what's ridiculous is that we're all hunting down the perfect program for something that should be included from the factory...
