Re: Which Screen Lock Are You Using?

I'm using ThrottleLock 0.4. I love the functionality over 0.3 (i.e. diagonal lines and criss-crossing of diagonal lines), but it has some issues which are making me reconsider it and look towards S2U2. Bare these in mind if you want to use TL:

1) On occassion, after you unlock, your capacitive wheel will not function for a short while (usually requires you press a few hardware buttons and/or manually put the phone to sleep and reawaken).

2) The hardware button lights will either stay on even when the phone is in sleep mode OR they will not turn on after the phone reawakens (even when the light sensor is activated via touchwheel). This requires you press the hardware buttons, put the phone to sleep, or just ignore and hope it fixes itself in a short while.

3) Initially, the program would activate whenever I made a phonecall, thus locking the screen. I was able to disabe this through ThrottleLockConfig (which comes with TL 0.4). A problem which still persisits though is that whenever I receive a call, the lock stays active. On occassion, I have to unlock before I can answer the phone...VERY annoying.

Anyways, that's my 2 cents .

Re: Which Screen Lock Are You Using?

I'm using TouchLockPro. I like that when it's locked, I still see my TF3D Main Screen and not a screen put in by the locking program.

Does Throttlelock, S2U2 or Pocketshield have that as an option?

Re: Which Screen Lock Are You Using?

Thanks guys for your replies Looks like I may be going back to the drawing board as sensor lock has started to not recognize my gestures requiring several attempts to unlock it. Tried Throttle Lock and well just don't like it. I'm giving the pocket shield a try now. Wow when i started this I was under the impression that S2U2 had most issues of any locking app wow was I wrong.

Re: Which Screen Lock Are You Using?

I always go back to S2U2 because it just works. Ive found weird quirks with the other ones, and with all the extra ram I dont mind using S2U2.
