Re: Clearing Program Shortcuts
I have the Alltel version.
I tried to delete the programs that the shortcuts led to, but of course that didn't work. I also looked in the registry and found Manila, but I also didn't know what values led to the programs tab. Oh yeah, thanks for the quick response. ![]() |

Re: Clearing Program Shortcuts
Just installed the instruction book to the pro on my comp, and it said that some programs can't be removed due to carrier configurations. But, shouldn't there still be a way to edit the registry and make it happen?

Re: Clearing Program Shortcuts
Not exactly sure what you are referring to but if you are talking about the programs listed when you select start on the homescreen and the drop down menu shows certain programs, you can change these. go to Start>Settings>Menus. you can uncheck programs and they will not show up in the drop down menu then. Hopefully this is what you are talking about. good luck.

Re: Clearing Program Shortcuts
I know I've read that you can unlock these ... I'll see if I can find how. Sprint's didn't come locked.
Ah! I knew we'd had this discussion.. install the Diamond TF3D Config program. There is an option there to reconfigure your program menu, specifically you can remove the program links that are preset by your carrier. Last edited by eenieMINI; 12-26-2008 at 09:37 PM. |
