I have the VZW version.... Our stuff is all shiny black...

What are we seeing here? Just slight discoloration? I thought that was a lighting affect.

I got mine through Alltel. I checked up on it in this forum before I got it so I had already gotten some dye for the battery cover. Once I got it I saw Alltel's version already had the black battery cover. Whoopie! And so far my chrome hasn't cracked or anything. Keeping my fingers crossed though...

yeah, its not a lighting effect.. the phone turns like a rusty redish brown after a while. though, i'd rather have that than less ram and a screwed up keyboard lol

ive had my tp since it came out , it still looks and is the same grey.

edit: looked at it in the bright sunlight and the ends are turning the golden color
