Since the GSM radio uses less energy than CDMA, there is less heat given off to overheat the battery. I haven't read any complaints from fuze owners.

so if i flash to a relus or verizon radio it will fix the overheating issue????

I talked my buddy into getting a touch pro (he went with AT&T though) and we have identical batteries. I really did not look at the part numbers on them, but they were physically identical. I used his phone to charge my battery because my usb port on my touch pro just stopped working. I will confirm that the batteries interchange and function correctly.
