Thanks for those pics! Does it fit well enough that it will stay attached if you drop it?

Keep in mind that the middle, or the side of the phone is not secured like the top and the bottom so the skin can silde away from the phone but that's only if you lift the phone by the side like me. It's pretty well secured in general, and the soft gel skin feels great too, and doesn't feel like bulky compare to the hard cases. Now, who wants my Sprint and the transparent hard case? lol... P.S. They are all gone in the FleaBay! Wow guess people like them after all ;P Last edited by stevedusa; 12-25-2008 at 01:08 AM. |

Re: Finally, a silicon/gel "skin" for the Sprint TP...
The big thing for me is, does this bring us back to the old days of the Mogul with the bevel surrounding the screen? One of the BIG steps up with this phone from the Mogul is the fact that the screen is flush, but this looks like it creates a ridge around it. Does it make it more difficult to select items near the edge of the screen?
I know, it will provide protection if the phone lands completely flat on its face, but how often does that happen? I think the ideal case would be two (one for the top, one for the bottom) ring-shaped pieces of silicone rubber which add no thickness to the pone, just a little width and height.

HOWEVER since this skin is flexible, you can easily move the skin away if it's in the way. I don't think you can do that with the hard case. |

Oh yeah it moves very smooth. Since it doesn't rely on those little clips that are kinda forcing the top and bottom parts of the phone apart thus create a gap. It's behing hold with two interlocking plastic parts on the top and the bottom on the skin. Check out my pictures I posted earlier.
