Re: Should YouTube skip with TP graphic card?
I just downloaded youtubeplay the other day and love it. Compared to skyfire and other viewers it is such an improvement. The video is not choppy at ALL over the cell network and it's great quality .flvs with fast loading times. It allows you to download and save the YouTube video and also extract the .mp3 if you like. I suggest everyone try it.

Those that are having choppy playback:
have you tried pausing the video and waiting for the entire video to download? What about closing app running in the background?

One thing I don't know is, some videos on youtube offer a high and low version of quality. I wonder if this new program uses a lower quality? |

Re: Should YouTube skip with TP graphic card?
THe quality of the builtin YouTube program seems to be higher.
I did notice that if I let the video load for a while, the playback is smother. The problem is, it won't let me download the whole video, only up to a certain amount past where the current position is. I looked in the registry and changed the MaxBuffer setting to longer, but upon closing, it resets back tothe original settings. Any way to get the whole video to download first, (registry setting, tricks etc.)? |
