Re: Should YouTube skip with TP graphic card?

Thanks for the info. No I am not using Bluetooth. I first used my data connection through sprint, then used my wifi hooking to Comcast. Both videos play the exact same even though comcast is so much faster.

Actually the Axim x50v had a Intel chip, the 2700g (marathon). I so miss it. Pause to shed a tear

the Ipaq 4700 had the ATI chip.

Thanks; I installed it. Too early to say for sure whether it helped, but it certainly didn't hurt.

EDIT: Unless I'm absolutely bonkers, the most noticeable difference is scrolling in Opera. It may be faster, it may be placebo - I'm happy either way.

Re: Should YouTube skip with TP graphic card?

Not sure about the YouTube, but my TP plays fullscreen divx just fine, with the divx mobile player (BTW, they are not scaled down versions either, they are 800mb DVD rips). I understand that HTC's video drivers traditionally vacuum, but maybe it is just the craptastic YouTube app in this case?

Re: Should YouTube skip with TP graphic card?

Those drivers make a major difference in the diamond vr hologram game. I got .12 fps before drivers and 25 after. Now it reads 50 fps.

Remember for the hologram program to work, you must have your finger touching the ok button (not click and/or hold).

Install the diamond hologram program. Go into it's menu and turn the smoothness max then how it runs. It should be approximately .12 fps. The frames per second is displayed in the menu when you tap the screen. Install the drivers then reopen the tame and it should jump to 25 fps.

Unfortunately, that is the only place where I can vouch for an improvement.

i dont think its a placebo IMO, because i originally installed that driver for the hologram app. even tho there was some improvement in the app i totally noticed more improvement in the overall phone...something i i totally noticed... with all things considered, opera is more flewent then before.

Re: Should YouTube skip with TP graphic card?

Interesting. I get 25-50 fps on the hologram program and I haven't installed the driver on my TP. My device is about one month old.

Wow, with the stock rom and even juggalo's which I am current using the drivers were needed to get 25 - 50. Are you running on the stock rom? Are you sure that som of the programs you have installed didn't add the drivers?
