Re: Should YouTube skip with TP graphic card?

I just installed the Diamond d3d drivers and, for me, it has definitely fixed my YouTube issue. I never tested FPS but I have always had a very obvious stutter (the video would basically jump ahead every few seconds because it could not keep up). This stutter is now gone and each video plays smoothly!!

Thanks again!

So no one has seen adverse side effects from installing the ATI Video drivers? I may give it a shot to see if it helps with scrolling in opera.

Something tells me it's a lot more than replacing that file.

Did you get an error or something? I just installed it on my TP.

Re: Should YouTube skip with TP graphic card?

Well, youtube still stinks with the ATI drivers someone posted earlier. Youtube is really choppy and basically unwatchable.

It has helped opera browsing. Everything seems to render a lot faster. Whenever I would zoom in from full page view it would take a minute or 2 and I would get the white checkerboards. I see less of it now. I'll probably keep these drivers since don't really use youtube at all but I use the web browser every now and then.

TF3D seems to react faster too. Maybe it's a placebo though.
