Format would look like this...
NAM|US|CA|MYTOWN

NAM is north america.. US is well USA.... (I am assuming) CA would be whatever 2 letter abbreviation chosen state and town is the actual spelling of city name.. include spaces where applicable.
Be sure you use the straight up and down line not a dash/slash..

Step by Step, open the database editor.. use drop down to find US
then click Edit at the bottom right.. Add City.. fill in the blanks State should be uppercase 2 letter city cap the first letter and code is as stated above.

Re: adding home town to weather

the straight up and down line is in the regular onscreen keyboard. hit the shift and it's just left of the spacebar

Re: adding home town to weather

XDA is down. Do I just need the weather editor app? If so, would someone mind providing a linky?

FYI - In my experience (or at least with my hometown), if your city has a space in the name, you should include the space in the location code... like:

NAM|US|CA|MY TOWN

Not sure if that's true universally or not...

Not quite universally true. St. Paul, MN is NAM|US|MN|SAINT-PAUL

Another good tip is that any city you add won't be in the alphabetical listing under United States - it will be at the very bottom, at least on mine it is.

Thats been the correct way for the various 2 word cities I have added... thus, use spaces as applicable. The instructions actually say to use underscore but it breaks if you do.
