I find that if you force roaming on verizon's network, the texting is A LOT faster. I did testing based on sending text messages to myself, and noting the delay between send/receive.

IT HARDLTY ever happens, but yes , same thing here , the last few days ...it must have been the sprinter text service or somthing , no big deal.. it seems fine today at least

i restart once every 3 days... maybe i should do it more often then...... i just hate the thought that my txting may not be reliable....

meh I have this problem with Sprint on a continual basis... but the worst problem, if you haven't noticed, is that if you send multi-part messages, that they arrive in the wrong order. IF you send a 3-part or higher, then it arrives 1,3,2 instead of 1,2,3. I tried this on my Pro, on my Touch, and I even had a friend using his 6700 on Sprint send me a 3-part, and it came in 1,3,2 as well.
When someone from AT&T sends me a 3-part, I get them 1,2,3. I think our Sprint phones aren't putting enough delay between the messages. My dumbphones put a bigger delay and there was no problem. |
