ANy specific BT headsets that work best with TP? - Page 2

Plantronics Voyager 855 works well for music playback, phone, and voice control. Don't know why, but it seems to work better indoors than out. If I'm outside, I need to keep my phone on the same side of my body as the main earpiece to ensure a solid connection.

In WMP, controls for volume, Forward, rewind, etc. work perfectly.

Voice Command will lower volume on songs temporarily to announce new mesages, etc.

VZWNav announces directions "over" music and doesn't lower the volume.

I have noticed, though, that I have the WMP "bug," though. If I have the WMP volume at 100% when I shutdown, I can't hear anything when I re-open the program. I have to lower the volume, close the program completely, and re-open it to get any sound. (Had this on my 6700, too -- happens with and without headphones.)

Does the jawbone "ring" with its own ringer or does it actually play your custom ringers?

It has its own ringer.

And +1 for the Jawbone 2. Love being able to drive at 75 with the top down and have no problems hearing who I'm talking to and have the other party hear me without any problems.

Im on that Jawbone 2 bandwagon, its a sweet lil headset. (but unfortunately i broke all the ear hooks)

I use the Plantronics Voyager 521 because it was given to AT&T reps for free and it connects to multiple devices so I can use it with my Sprint and AT&T phones at the same time. Jawbones are the stuff. I prefer the first gen because the loops feel a lot better and they have a spring that keeps the noice cancelling bud against your cheek. The plantronics discovery 925 is also really nice and has very good quality. It comes with a small leather puch that has a battery built in to charge it during the day.

Wow...I'm still rocking the one that came on it out of the box. The original Jawbone on the other hand with the crappy metal ear loops were all broken in weeks of my buying the thing.

Wait a minute!!!!! Thatboys dude, jawbone2 will play any custom mp3 you choose in your ear, so let's get that clear
