ANy specific BT headsets that work best with TP?

without question, the JABRA BT8040 is the best headset for the TP....followed closely by the moto S9 and then the JB2.

here are my 2 cents and the reason i give the bt8040 a big plus over others:

1) A2DP: this is a MUST have for any ppc, especially being that I have an 8 gig card in it that can be filled with audio. i also like the fact that all my sounds go discretely to my ear and not for everyone else to hear...unless i want them too. the motoS9 has better sound via A2DP, but just doesn't connect as well. the JB2 doesnt have A2DP at all, which in my opinion is a shame/robbery being that it costs so much.

2) Strong Connection: this headset seems to stay connected like it was attached with super glue. the connection is strong enough that i can have my phone on the 2nd floor of my home and my audio/calls are loud & clear with me on the first floor or even in the basement. NICE!!! it also seems to remain connected and work in a sleep mode, hardly ever (if at all) loosing its connection or having to reconnect. this is where this device shines over the motoS9, the bt8040 is just a much stronger conneting BT device. if the motoS9 was as good in this area, it would be my favorite.

3) battery life: very decent and charging is supper quick. the mini-charger is becoming more prevelant too so basically i have several at home and at the office if ever needed. i basically charge at night and it lasts throughout the workday and part of evening with normal usage.

3) Sound/Call Quality: the sound is pretty good for such a small device. depending on your ear size, you may have to play with it for the right fit and hence the loudness may be affected. but overall, this is a very decent sounding headset. its not a bass machine. if i want lots of bass i just switch to my stereo moto S9.

4) Size & comfort: the bt8040 is very small and discrete, very light. i really forget that it is on my ear and have to feel for it, lol. and can be switched to either ear very easiy, no changing the loop or anything like that. this is also where i find the only shortcoming of this device, which is that it is so light on the ear that i have literally forgot it was on and because there is no ear hook, i have knocked it off and lost it....AARGHHH!!!

i like it so much that after loosing it i went and immediately ordered another one...didnt even hesitate. as stated earlier, newegg.com is the place to order from. its $26 there, but they sell fast and are sometimes out of stock. make sure you buy it bulk...the retail is much more. you might also want to try msgdigital.com
