Re: ANy specific BT headsets that work best with TP?
I have a jawbone 2 that just works perfect (it even rings before my touch pro does! by 2 seconds!)
but I do not have any other bluetooth to compare with... |

I have a Motorola HT820 and Plantronics 925 and both of them work flawlessly.

I use these:
http://www.amazon.com/Jabra-BT-3030-...9878625&sr=8-1 You can plug any standard set of 3.5 mm headphones into those things. Has a built in mic so you can answer calls if you happen to get one while listening to music. |

Re: ANy specific BT headsets that work best with TP?
I haven't had any trouble getting any of the headset I've tried to work with the TP. It doesn't seem to be picky like the Tilt was. My favorites are the Jabra BT 8040 and BT 530 - they seem to fit the best for me and have great sound quality and volume on both ends of the conversation. Plus, they steam audio which is great for You Tube, Sprint TV, and any podcasts or audio that I listen to. I'm currently using the BT 530 because I like the dedicated on/off switch, but I think the BT 8040 looks better.
Jawbone II would be the best, but I'd have to super glue it to my face to get it to stay put (yes I've tried all the ear piece hacks), but then again it's doesn't stream audio. Last edited by kilen; 12-21-2008 at 01:15 PM. |

Jabra BT8040 - works great in a car (no background noise to the other caller), is really lightweight, has a good bit of talk time, and has built-in A2DP for audio. Best one I've ever used (after going through a painstaking process of testing out numerous BT headsets.) Used to retail for about $80, but you can get the "bulk" package on Newegg for about $26. You won't be disappointed.
