GPS on Alltel Touch Pro - Page 2

I understand that you guys got your gps to work on your TP. I cannot get google maps to find me. I have turned on the location switch and updated my gps and it still wwont work. not sure if it is just due to a new security on the newer TPs or what. I did get it to work when I was out of town so I am all confused.

If you're using a 6.5 rom, there are issues with the Sprint/Alltel TP's getting a lock. Some days you get a lock, others not. HTC released an update (for GSM TP's, but works fine on the CDMA). Apply it and the GPS issues on 6.5 should disappear (did for me anyway, apply it after every new flash and GPS locks within 10 seconds, normally either locked within 10 or never).
