I would love to have this feature back. On my old Sanyo flip-phone you could just type in the 3-digit areacode and it would instantly give you the state. When ever anyone around me would say "where the heck is area code [###]", I would just flip open my phone, type [###], and give them an answer. They were always amazed -lol
I used the black S2A dialer.

Not really a solution to this thread, but somewhat related. Here is a thread with a caller ID app, which I suppose displays the caller ID the same way a house caller ID works. I haven't tried it yet, but here is a link. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...61#post2998461
