How can i make my pro's ringer louder

The cab file did not work for me either, because it tries to overwrite AudioPara.csv file which is in ROM on Verizon's Touch Pro and it fails to do so. So i put the new AudioParaLite or Full file anywhere i want(i.e \Audio\AudioParaLite.csv) and edit the rigistry entry that points to it.

HKLM->Drivers->BuiltIn->WaveDev
AcousticFile = \Audio\AudioParaLite.csv

After soft reboot everything works as inteneded.

Man, I can't imagine how loud that full volume boost is. I use the lite version and it's loud as hell. I have to keep my ringer on 3 bars so it doesn't blow out my ear drums. lol

If you're boosting the gain on an audio file for use as a ringer you're definitely going to distort it if you boost too much. It will sound much cleaner to increase the output to the speaker with an audio booster cab.

My TP has never had any volume issues. I use the Mp3 Trimmer to make many of my tones. Does this problem have to do with build date or custom ROMs or what?

im trying to get my tp ringer as loud as nextel phones. the phones are extremely loud. i use mp3gain but it still is nowhere near nextel phones ringtone volume

While I haven't used Audacity, I have used WavePad. If the ringers distort, run a bass filter or a treble filter on the output file. This will help normalize some of the sound, leaving you with louder but less tonal-ly dynamic sound.

It is sad we must go through all of these hoops in order to make our volume on this phone and any other HTC phone sound louder. The other day I was over by my best friend's house and I was playing with her husband's Blackberry Bold and that speaker volume on that phone is awesome. I transferred a couple of songs from his phone to mine and the difference in quality was immense. For once I want to purchase a phone that has a loud speaker and ringers.

This is the way i've always done it...usually it's not cooked in the rom. only one i've ever seen it cooked in on is the Mighty rom. but the regedit is...

Going over 5 is said to show no increase but i've never tried.

Try useing the cab file badboys with srswow hd it made my tp way loud
