How do you disable VistaHide Battery if you cooked it into a rom?

You could remove the startup link from Windows\Startup

Ok, so VistaHide Battery is the culprit... I disabled it and I no longer have a laggy keyboard. I used this program on my mogul for a year and just fiqured my mogul was a P.O.S. So, I really liked that progarm is there any other that do the same thing but cause no lag.

As said before batti 2.4 does a great job

Batti is similar, and doesn't cause a lag on my device. However, it's not nearly as instantaneous, as far as showing battery life. There's also another one (blocky looking) that does a similar job (I can't think of the name of it). I haven't tried it on my device yet, though.

My phone as a whole seems to run faster now, maybe VistaHide caused lag because its battery level reading rate was to high.

Oh, I see what you mean by instantaneous. When you chase from portrait to landscape it takes a second to update the level. No biggy for me. However, if you slide open start texting, when batti updates it lags for a blip while it updates the level. no big deal, just a little hic-up.

wth, when your phone goes to sleep mode with batti running and you wake it up its stuck on the charging indicator

Not sure how many other people are experiencing this issue. But when I text or email, the words im typing are way behind and lag really bad. The rest of my device is pretty snappy most the time but the text is always delayed when i type... any ideas to fix this or tweak it?!?!

Humor me and try doing a search in these forums for "Keyboard lag".

Hopefully not soon after you do that, coz will close this thread since the issue has been discussed numerous times.......

i have fixed the keyboard lag 100%, requires you to exclude Xt9 IME from the rom.

if you dont use XT( its great. and the build in microsoft word suggestion and spelling correction works fast and like a dream. i do this on ALL my personal roms.

no one els seems to be interested in a rom excluding the XT( IME i think tis the worst coded peice of garbage related to the KB input ever released on a device....

I've posted the fix(es) you desire here. That should fix the lag, and the xt9. And xt9 is pretty cra_ppy...
