Hardware Keyboard Issues

for the past 3 days my keyboard has been extremely buggy unresponsive at times and sometimes ill hit a key and it will repeat whatever key i hit. today the damn thing clunked out on me completely, no keys working at all....i was dreading a hard reset but went ahead with one and to my suprise the damn thing still doesnt work!!! i've had the phone since Nov. 1 so this one has me puzzled...sprints sending a replacement out thanks to my insurance...any1 else out there with this problem or possibly a solution if i wanted to use a touchscreen keyboard i wouldnt of waited 4eva for the pro and jus got the diamond
