How long on back order?

Was over on the Sprint site and they have the TP as OUT-OF-STOCK, any word on how long this will last?

What is the cause of the shortage?

I finally gave up after waiting for 3+ weeks for it to be instock and just went to best buy and got it

yea I was at the sprint repair store today and they said ppl are waiting for a month to get there replacement. Thank god Im only getting mines replaced cuz the switch came out where the stylus go so I can wait I guess.

i dropped mine and broke it, called asurion today and they had NEW ones in stock. shipped it today and i'll have it thursday.

yeah retentions said they could try to order one in a week, but they wouldnt know if it would go thru, i found a couple of stores had them though this was wed i picked mine up

I just spoke to a customer service representative from Sprint who said that no more units would be available from Sprint until a couple of "technical issues" were resolved. He didn't have an estimated re-release date, but he speculated 1-3 months. He also didn't provide any specifics about the issues that were causing the delay.

I don't put a lot of stock in one conversation with a customer service rep, and I know I'd probably get three different stories if I called three more times, but, for whatever it's worth . . .
