I've been through this, when I got a phone with a messed up screen. Don't claim asurion, you're limited as to how many claims you can make in a year, so why waste them on a non-Asurion issue?
My first replacement was ordered by my Sprint Store. The second time they told me to go back there and I said it was 50 miles away and asked them to do an advanced exchange, and they did it. That is the technical term for it, "Advanced exchange." So call sprint up and ask them to do it. They send you a replacement phone with a prepaid return envelope, you activate new phone and set it up and throw old phone in envelope and return. My KB has been flaky for the last month but now it's completely dead. A soft reset would fix the problem for awhile but now I get nothing. I'll gladly pay $55 for a new phone though. I don't have insurance on my phone and I bought it from best buy. Don't know if that makes a difference or not. |
