Alarm Meeting Notification Issue

I've seen it posted a few times in here, but haven't really found a reliable solution. So, I'm wondering if anyone knows the cause, and hopefully the fix, for the issue of the alarm/meeting notification popup not showing up?

When the alarm went off in the past, it used to popup on the bottom of the screen with the option to dismiss or snooze. Now I only get the notification in the icon area and have to hit the alarm bell to get it to popup. Same with meetings. My email and SMS popups work fine, it's just the reminders and alarm.

I have the custom start icons update and S2U2 v 1.35 as my only real additions to the phone, in addition to some small apps like barcorama and lightsaber. Stock ROM and everything else. The popup was working with the custom start icons and S2U2 until very recently. No real rhyme or reason why it's not working now. I've tried soft reset a few times and nothing.

I am looking for the same thing. I know I did it to my last pro, but I need to do it again. I think it needs added to the Pro Essentians thread.

give me one minute, ill help. ok, set your alarm,goto start>settings, sounds& notifications. make sure notifications (alarms&notifications) box is checked. see if that works. test run. theres also version 137 of s2u2 im using. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...12418&page=310

Yeah, I have programs and notifications both checked. It was working for a long time, and just recently stopped. I'm running 1.35. Maybe I'll try to upgrade and see if that helps.

Upgraded to 1.37 and no dice. I unchecked the notifications, soft reset, checked notifications, soft reset and still nothing. This is driving me crazy. Any ideas that don't involve hard resetting?

Ill second that problem!! It annoys the crap out of me. When my alarm goes off I have to tap the top bar, then get the system status, then tap the alarm box then the reminder box pops up, then I have to dismiss the alarm,WTF!!!! Way to much to do just to turn the alarm off! And its way to early.. The funny thing is it did work for a few weeks for some reason, now never.
