All the files show up in the Windows directory fine just like before too. Do you experience a 5-second lag when opening the Internet tab in TF3D? Could this be related the the YouTube link being in there? 4 other rom's I've used only have a 1-2 second lag and are noticeably faster, all of which had working YT BTW. |

The DSM file is 150+ kb whereas the other one is under 1kb. It's different, but not enough to make it work. ps- where did you buy your TouchPro? What is the manufacture date? Maybe we have a weird variant... Best Buy & 11/09 here. |

Re: Youtube - I can't find it
Quick - I don't use TF3d. I gave up on that damned thing. It just won't run nicely for me. I've even tried TF2D vga. I've just gone back to the Pocket Digital Clock, Today Agenda, and Phone suite and am pretty happy with it. I just got turned on to S2U2 and really like it, but again, the one in the kitchen doesn't work properly. My TP was bought through Verizon. I ordered it the day before it went public and got it the day it was released (my VZW rep likes me). The date code is 181008.
I'm wondering if somehow the QVGA Kitchen incorporates files with the VGA? I mean, if I select Herman, does the Kitchen even touch the QVGA file? Time to do some serious experimenting... |

Re: Youtube - I can't find it
Youtube worked out of the box for me as well. Is it possible to have some sort of application security lock that would prevent certain TP's from using this app on cooked roms?

Re: Youtube - I can't find it
<-- Big HTC Home fan, so that's my go-to homescreen but I have TF3D as a "backup" in case I get bored with HTC Home
![]() So our problem doesn't seem to be model date or carrier specific. Could it be a specific combination of selected OEM's? (ie YouTube and Java, but not Streaming Player and BT or something) - I'm clearly just thinking crazy because I'm about ready to give up :/ Thanks for your help with all this Hibby |
