Angry Cracked my screen
i dropped something on my phone and cracked the lcd screen. do the diamond and touch pro have the same screen and can someone guide me 2 where 2 buy a replacement.

Yes, they both have the same screen... Is there anyway you can turn it in and get a replacement? I would either check eBay or check this thread out.. If you find somebody selling a Touch Pro, just PM them...

im on cricket so no insurance. but i ran across an lcd 4 a diamond 4 $65. it should fit the touch pro right?

And if you also get the screen replaced, you'll void the warranty, but since you have no insurance, it never hurts to take chances. Also gonna be difficult finding a screen in the Bargain Trader forum.

Yeah.. I don't know how good you are at hardware mods, but installing a new LCD screen will be a pain.. It might suck, but I recommend buying a whole phone instead of just the screen...

I have a complete screwdriver set and a good amount of experience taking Pocket PCs apart and putting them back together, and the only thing that gave me a hard time was the 6700 which had a huge piece of special tape on the back part of the screen.

I haven't seen the insides of the Touch Pro yet, so to break it down and replace the screen might be simple like Blasph had.. Or it might be a real pain...
