you could take it apart and clean the lcd off? or is the lcd itself messed up. you can probably find an lcd for 50 bucks. i'd just claim that it was stolen and keep it for spare parts... i think this phone is going to need it down the road.

Anyhow, I would not recommend bringing the phone in the bathroom. Even if you're not accident prone, just having the phone in the bathroom will cause problems down the line. A lot of people can't live without their phones, they sit on the counter when you do your makeup, they sit on the counter while you do your business, they sit on the counter while you shower...

The problem is that bathrooms often have poor ventilation. when you shower you notice how the mirrors fog up?

This steam over time can trip the warranty stickers that colorize when exposed to water.

Moisture in the air is water in your phone over time. I've had sprint haggle me on warranty issues because I used to have my phone on the counter when I showered. I have also been haggled because the humidity caused my stickers to "ever so slightly" change.

Sprints really cracking down on claims...they are so eager to pawn you off to assurion since they limit you to how many times you can make a claim per year.

I work at an authorized Service Center We will NOT replace liquid damage phones....there are indicators wich tell us it is liquid damage like corrosion, constantly vibrating when inserting the battery and of course the obvious damage he mentioned.

I got one of my buddy from xbox live friends list and he works at sprint store and he said same thing don't waste your time go with insurance.

ok making claim on asurion hopefully they can send me one without any problems.

Indicators like the blue-green chia-pet stuff growing out of the base of the power/charging port? Missing "pink" decals from the phone/battery. Mineral deposits inside the battery cover. There should be a forum on here just for "I got my phone wet". Makes me want to encase my phone in peanut butter (to water proof it), then dip it in dried rice just in case I drop my phone into some water.

I bought my TP through a 3rd party and can't get insurance, is Asurion an option for me?
