fm radio WAS working..grrr

Ok I tracked down the guy that put the phone together for me at MobiPCS, and spent over an hour trying to get sprint to get it working right again. Here is where I'm at now:
1. The guy that put the phone together said he got the ROM off a website (not this one obviously). He thinks he still has the file and I will be getting it from him tomorrow.
2. STILL NO Internet after putting it back to sprint - plus they know it was hacked so no warrenty or insurance on the damn thing now either.
3. Talked to the guy who put the phone together to see if he had any ideas on what all he changed to get it off sprint and on mobipcs - all he said was "everything"...ha.
4. Somewhere, somehow, I need to figure out how to get this stupid thing back on sprint. I tried the fix that someone posted out here before ...about seting the active profile to a 1 and making some changes - but in my has there AAA key and HA key goes, both of mine are blank - the HA one should be "secret" I guess...but it's blank for me.
5. No one at sprint is willing to help me fix it - so I'm like getting really disappointed. I paid 800 bucks for the damn thing and no interent!

Does anyone have any ideas on what I could try? I am going to try to talk to the guy again tomorrow but I got the impression he will not be able to remember all the changes he did to put it back to the way it was.

Plus - sprint says they can't even see the phone on their network at all - so I think when I put the radio ROM on there I screwed something else up - although the phone does work.

Any ideas would be great - I dont wanna $890 unit that is nothing other than a freakn phone! damn!

Get the Sprint replacement plan and run it over...

My question is who do you have service thru? mobipcs or sprint? The way i understand it, mobipcs took a sprintphone, made some adjustments and then resold it to you to work on their network. is that right? if so, sprint isn't going to help at all. you are not their customer. Now typically reflashing a rom, does nothing to the CDMA settings. so your data connection settings should not have changed. but then again, that may not be 100% correct. a good customer service rep should help you. its a simple matter of reprogramming.

you know what not to be an ahhhole about this but it does not sound right .... I could be wrong but why would a carrier provide a phone with half-working software just for one customer I seriously doubt that would happen .... unless someone was able to fix him up a rom using the gsm drivers I don't know sounds shady

what are you talking about bro this is done all the time just look at cricket and pocket... ppl get their phones flashed at those stores all the time

If they are both blank then that is your issue.....

there are some sprint techs on this forum that might help ya out considering youve got some important info on ya!

however, the ha and aaa keys were blank on mine as well after i upgraded to the wrong ppst.exe file, so that may be ur issue there. was it working before u flashed to your sprint rom? if so, try taking the ppst..exe file out of your mobi rom, moving it to the windows directory and running it... may/may not work and you might wanna 2nd opinion as im not an expert w/ the ppst...

I'm sure its with a carrier rom not something that they all of a sudden can't find .... this sounds super silly
