Re: fm radio WAS working..grrr
True.. And the failure, it seems, was to be expected based on past results.. Oh well... On to the next way.. I do hope Techno is able to post his registry values for you to work with...

Re: fm radio WAS working..grrr
True enough.. And for the Diamond too.. The CDMA Diamond and Touch Pro have the same exact chipset... Same basic phone, besides keyboard and 4G of Storage... I just don't see how the drivers that enabled the Diamond FM Radio don't work on the Touch Pro, unless the hardware is not there.. I know one reason is that the FM Radio on the Touch Pro was manually blocked by HTC at the behest of Sprint... But if that is the case, why not the Diamond too? Or vice versa? I know this is just some random conjecture and musings, but just strikes me curious..

Ok, it definitely can't be this hard to get a file or a registry export. The OP either needs to fess up that he was lying, or stop beating around the bush!
I still love you though.

Re: fm radio WAS working..grrr
ya sorry guys I'm at the office a couple more hours can't really do too much from here.
Might want to check the xda-developers website too - I saw that there is a guy there that accidently put the ATT ROM on his CDMA unit - would be interesting to know if he can use his FM radio. Now today I've reflashed my phone to stock and put the stock radio on it (still trying to get the freakn internet to work) so I haven't messed with the FM part again yet. |
