I think I remember reading a post about a guy flashing a ROMeOS (Raphael GSM ROM) to a Sprint Touch Pro just after the unlocker was released. IIRC, the phone simply got stuck at the bootscreen, and had to be flashed back to stock for it to work again.

Seems that you really have to work hard in order to brick one of these phones. I am almost tempted to try this since I have tep but not sure if I want to go through the hassle

True... The hassle is probably not worth it... If you flash a GSM to CDMA or vice versa, that's about all I know that is pretty much a guarantee to cause brickation to occur
