I think I remember reading a post about a guy flashing a ROMeOS (Raphael GSM ROM) to a Sprint Touch Pro just after the unlocker was released. IIRC, the phone simply got stuck at the bootscreen, and had to be flashed back to stock for it to work again.

He got lucky he did not brick his phone...

Looks like I got lucky too then... I'm a total newb to flashing (phones of course) and forgot to make sure I did a CDMA ROM first time I tried...
And thats exactly what happened, phone just kept power cycling and after I loaded Sprint ROM back to it, it worked like a champ... posting from it now!

Seems that you really have to work hard in order to brick one of these phones. I am almost tempted to try this since I have tep but not sure if I want to go through the hassle
