Touch Pro Keyboard shortcuts

I was wondering if there are any shortcuts for like creating a new email or sms etc on the touch pro keyboard..or(even better) create my own shortcuts

on the sliding keyboard, there's a dedicated key for each
TXT for sms and an ENVELOPE icon for email (left of the space bar)

I know that but wen you press it, it doesnt bring up a new sms or email and i dont like using the touch screen after i have popped out the keyboard..so is there a way to open a blank sms or email using the keyboard?

I was wondering the same thing but with opera, any keyboard shortcuts besides Backspace? I was mashing keys but didn't come across any. Thats operas claim to fame with the pc version.
