i think its more proof that Sprint will do anything to get customers, especially business users. The price sprint pays HTC for these prob hasnt changed with the economy whether they charge 299 or 199 to us.

Yup, and I drive a 97 Tahoe and had it in 4wd the whole trip because of the nasty weather conditions. Left with a full tank and got back with about 2 gals to spare. $1.51/gallon here right now, so S&H only cost $37. =D

Just reporting in that you may also be eligible for another $50 credit....

I had originally bought the Pro from Sprint about a month ago and although I liked it, I felt it was not worth the the money ti upgrade. I saw this thread last night, went this morning to BB and got it for $199. A Sprint rep also told me before I went that if I do the 2 yr upgrade (even at BB) I can get an extra $50 statement credit if I call Sprint back. I did that tonight and they said I should have the credit on my next statement.

Yeah! The only thing is that I had to talk to a few reps to get one that knew had to apply it (no surprise there).

If you have were not able to get one, you should also try asking for a rain check or something like that. You should even be able to claim that they started giving them out earlier than the ad stated in many stores.
