Would I be eligible if I have the SERO 500 plan, even though I am only one year in on my contract?
Would I just ask to extend my contract for another 2 years to get it at the $200 price and would this change the plan, because it would not be worth while for me if I lose my SERO plan?

Looking at the ad, it doesn't say this anywhere. Just says that you must sign up for a new 2 year contract. Also someone mentioned that activation would be waived because of the holiday promotion, but I don't see mention of that anywhere in the ad.

I just picked up a Touch Pro from Best Buy! The Sale is for Sunday 14th, with the price at $199.99. You can purchase today at $299.99 and go back tomorrow and get a credit/refund of the difference, $100 + tax.

Just bring-in your receipt!!!

Thanks guy for the ideal of going to the BB store today, I did the same thing you did, I will go back to BB in the morning for them to credit my card with the $100. The sales rep said, they only got in 3 Sprint HTC Touch Pros for the big sale tomorrow, so thanks again, I was truly blessed to get this phone......

Nice! You're lucky! I called my local best buy, and they told me that if I bought it before tomorrow, I would have to return the phone and purchase another for the discounted price. It makes no sense why they wouldn't price match... Did they waive your activation?

yeah i called my store and said they had a few, and they will have 2 for me at 8am. since the Aholes at sprint wont match it, Talked to the supervisor and told them if they match it, I will keep all of my lines for 2 more years, we all need new phones. they where like we will give you 150 credit to renew all lines, but wont be eligable for an upgrade.

so im loading the oem file on the phone, and heading to sprint in a few after the baby goes to bed and return it

Man I hope they dont try to pull the same crap as last time when I was trying to use the 15% coupon. The part they got me was on the "for qualified existing customers" in the fine print. For some reason I wasn't "qualified". I see the new ad has the same wording.

Yeah my local Sprint store refuses to price match Best Buy too. Best Buy told me I wasn't eligible for the price because I just renewed my contract with Sprint last week. I said that I did not upgrade my handset. It took them looking at my account to then say "yeah you're eligible". uggh! It's no big deal to me if my contract is pushed back one week. haha
