yeh i went there and just bought one for 299, they said its easy just come back tomm and theyd credit my card the $100 when the ad was out officially. No biggy really.

Its smarter that way because you won't have to worry about them having any when you would have gotten there tomorrow.

that sas my thought. right as i got there they sold one one while i was waiting to be helped. At 199 theyll get sold fast tomm. Ive never had a problem with Best Buy and refunds so..

Yes, I believe you do even if you buy it directly from Sprint. If you add the data separately, you need the $25 one I think. The Everything Data plan is a better deal though.

Dang! Just found out the local Best Buy stores don't do activations for Sprint. Think I can get a corp. store to price match?

i brought the ad in a week early (yay internet) after calling sprint to make sure they'd honor my rebate. i got the rep's id info and an email confirming the rebate auth. then i proceeded to best buy and did the two year upgrade thing from a data card to the tp. then, using the buyback system i soldback my old mm8300 for a net cost on the day of $15!!!
