Re: Anyone tried the new CorePlayer v1.3 on the TP?
I've never tried any wmvs or mp4s in CP since I only watch DIVX files on my phone.

Have you ever converted DVD movies to a h.264 file before? It's super nice looking quality in a pretty small file. Once you go h.264 you'll never uses any other format. Trust me! I got 34 movies on my TP2 with 16gb sd and the all look so sick!

Nope, never tried. Its much easier to just download divx versions of my movies than have to convert my existing DVDs.

n/m
I have converted a few divx movies to h264, it does play nice. but it seems getting the converter to keep them in sync is harder than it is worth. pimpol10, what do you use? would it work for divx? Last edited by LoneSnark; 04-17-2010 at 10:46 AM. Reason: .,. |

Exactly. It happens way too often that the audio is like 0.5 seconds away from the video. ****ing annoying.

Use your built in Window Media player instead! It works great! I use DVD Catalyst to convert my movies. It's not free though, but only $10 worth it. But if you use it to convert your movies, remember to lower the resolution because the TP can't handle full 640x480. also to have the bitrate at 380. I never had a voice sync issue with it, maybe once out of 100 movies so far.
