Cardo S-2 - Sound quality, button functionality, etc.

I'm considering getting a Cardo S-2 headset. Has anyone here tried it with the TP? Does it work well? How is the sound quality compared to wired headphones? I'm worried about popping and hissing, but then again I had a very bad experience with a set of wireless desktop headphones years ago, so I'm probably overreacting; no review I saw mentioned any lapses in sound quality. Do the buttons control the HTC media player correctly? How's the mic?
