well i would assume the one downfall to this to sMMS and Sprint's is recieving will still be texts to go to the web. But id take that over the 2-3+ min it takes for sprint's native app (which is buggy too)

You might have to do some of the registry changes to get it to work. You probably know that already.

i just uninstalled sprint's mms, rom didn't come with it, so it was an easy uninstall. i can send mms no problem, but i can't receive it now. also, w7excursion, what registry tweak are you referring too ?

i cant see why you wouldnt be able to receive, we never had picturemail app on our old WM phones and they just came as txt links. Should be the same

BTW i forgot how much i LOVE arcsoft. Simple to use, attached a pic and sent it, was sent within 10 secs and received to my email within a few seconds too. thank god no more waiting 2-3+min for the sprint picmail app to send, that was RIDICULOUS! Itd just sit there saying sending sending sending and finally maybe 2 or more min later itd actually send. ill suffer clicking web links to receive picmails to use this app again

idk i have sprint's installed so thats still receiving. when i reflash later ill retry it without installing Sprint's but it should come as a text like it always did in the past. all sprint's app was trap that notification and download the pic from your picmail account instead of an sms. I cant say for sure but if you ever had sprint's installed it may take a hard reset to clear out the registry entries which may block those sms messages from coming in

theres a sprint modified version (for the settings) somewhere on pccgeeks forum still. i dont remember the file name to link you to it but the file name attached was something like ppcgeeksmms.cab i believe
