Google Calendar/ Outlook Calendar

I need help. I would like to know if it is possible for the TP to have two separate calendars setup for active sync. I use Outlook for my job (appt, meetings, contacts etc) and I would like to use Google calendar for my personal life (appt, parties, birthdays etc) I've read that there is goosync available but I don’t think that it really meets my needs.

I would like my job calendar to be setup for my home screen on the today screen. And the Google calendar for my home screen on my 2nd today screen, is that possible? I know that the HTC G1 can sync with Google calendar back and forth. Can this show up on my home screens or do I need to use a separate app?

Re: Google Calendar/ Outlook Calendar

Yeah that is fine. I just don't want my personal stuff to be blended with my outlook calander/e-mail at work.

Re: Google Calendar/ Outlook Calendar

I don't believe a single windows mobile device can have two different sets of data (I'm pretty sure the desktop version of Outlook is the same way).

What I do to keep track of my Wife's calendar is use categories. I came up with one for me and one for her, and it makes filtering much easier.

Re: Google Calendar/ Outlook Calendar

Cool, I didn't think that would work. I guess I'll try the goosync app for google and microsoft outlook for work. Hopefully that will work. Thx for the reply dudes.

Not True, you can setup multiple calendars in outlook. In fact I have two at work. I believe the version of outlook you have determines whether or not you can have multiple calendars.

One way you can try to trick your phone, try to setup a second calendar and see if both are synched

What version of outlook do you have?

I have outlook 2007 and was able to add additonal calendars..... picture attached...
