Not True, you can setup multiple calendars in outlook. In fact I have two at work. I believe the version of outlook you have determines whether or not you can have multiple calendars.

One way you can try to trick your phone, try to setup a second calendar and see if both are synched

What version of outlook do you have?

I have outlook 2007 and was able to add additonal calendars..... picture attached...
