Change where SMS Texts are saved in Reg.

Ok, so i ve been searching the forums and else where how to change were my sms texts are saved... i wana change the directory to my sd card cuz i have like 8000 texts stored on my fone and now its slowing down.. i rmbr on my mogul i did that and changed the reg for i think windows/messaging to the windows/messaging on the storage.. does any1 rmbr this tweak??? and no im NOT erasing my txts lol..

eh, what's the need to have 8000 txts saved in your phone? :P

also, can't you just store the txts in a pim backup? and if you need them recall them at a later time?

i no how to do all that stuff.. im just saying does any know how to move windows/messaging file to sd cuz i did that with my mogul last year..

I agree with GhettoBSD, just use pim backup to save them to your sd card. It's a very easy program to use.

tell us something we dont now ppl... lol.. i have pim backup and it backups my fone every night ... but do u no how long it will take to restore 10000 txts.. i have a 32gb card i can fill every book in the world on it.. come on ppl..

whatcha talking about!!!10000 text isn't much at all. 160 characters each, spb or sprite will hook that up quick. Plus what's the deal with 32 GB!!and whatever happened to the word please!!!and pim back up doesn't have automatic scheduling at all...

Was there really a way to do this via the registry? If so, it would be the same as the Mogul, (unless you are talking about the WM6.0 ROM.)
