Garmin XT on TP

I tried installing the Garmin on the TP but it can't seem to find the internal GPS receiver. Is there any special settings I need to do in order to get it working/ Thanks.

I have Garmin XT. Try digging around in Garmin's settings , under system. Does other GPS apps work for you? Are you on Verizon ?

google maps work for me no problem. i am on sprint.

Did you install a clean version? If not you may have missed a step in installation which is critical in getting the program to work. I gave up! Google maps works good enough for me. : )

Yes I was not looking forward to reinstalling this. Surprisingly I was able to take out the SD card from my Vogue and put it in my TP and it just worked. =D>

i always delete it and do fresh device id when i change devices...

fyi....I have garmin xt 5.20 works great on my sprint TP

yea it was a clean install. i never had any garmin install on my device before

try soft reset....also sometimes closing and relaunching helps

yea. is there a way of choosing the receiver within garmin or is it automatic? because it keeps trying to search for a bluetooth receiver.

na its internal not bluetooth...lol
