Battery life between a Mogul and Touch Pro?
I have a friend who has a Mogul. He claims the Mogul can go a week between charges for him. That's nuts. Is that really unusual or have other people experienced this? Could the Touch Pro do as well if tweaked enough?

There is no way a Mogul will last that long with average usage. I call bs on that one.

I don't believe your friend- unless he has no programs running, with all the radios turned off, with no data or phone connections at all... It is seemingly impossible because the current mainstream technology is just not there.. Even the rated times from the manufacturers, which are already over optimistic, are not this high.. I assume we are talking OEM batteries and not extended-life batteries..

The Touch Pro also could not get that battery life for the above stated reason..

It's not that far off.
i used to have a mogul (before TP) and i could usually go 4 days with medium usage
that was with dcd rom and an Alltel Radio (on Sprint)

The mogul did have amazing battery life

sorry to break it to you, your friend is lying
i had multiple moguls before the touch pro and the pro has been getting about the same battery life, which is a little more than a day with regular use
i think he's just jealous that he's stuck with that ol brick that has no RAM at all...
