Besides...*gulp*...I have an iPod Touch for THAT other stuff... ![]() Anyway, I think since the iPhone set the bar IN THE GENERAL PUBLIC'S eye...every other smartphone, winmo device, ppc....whatever we want to call them will ALWAYS get compared to the iPhone...whether its comparing (no pun intended) apples and oranges. I started with HTC with a Mogul...and I don't think I'll be leaving HTC anytime soon. Especially when HTC will probably be the manufacturer to Sprint's Android phone...that day will come when we have to decide if we'll go there and leave WinMo behind. Whether there is a graphics issue with the TouchPro and the Diamond really depends on the individual. If a segment of TP/Diamond owners raise a fuss and a fix emerges from HTC...and BENEFITS ALL...hey more power to them. Last edited by amw1972; 12-03-2008 at 10:27 PM. |

You open your keyboard and it breaks, or your screen cracks for no reason...those are issues that are well within your right to complain about. Those things are not supposed to happen. Now on the flip side, your video doesn't play like a dedicated video player or you can't play Doom the way the iphony or what ever does is not HTC's fault. It's the consumers fault because the consumer keeps buying these phones and telling HTC "great job! Can't wait for your next fabulous phone!" As has already been stated, the best way to get HTC's attention is to NOT buy the phone. You already knew the performance wasn't up to your standards so why did you buy the phone? This reminds me of what happened last night with my daughter. She wanted to go to a friends b-day party so we let her. She gets home about 8pm and starts crying because she is "over whelmed" with homework and doesn't know how she will ever get it done. Why then did she go to the party? If you want a Porche, buy a Porche, if you want a Pinto, buy a Pinto but don't buy a Pinto and expect it to drive like a Porche. |

Re: Graphics Performance issues?
It seems that 27 believe it's an issue, and that 21 believe it's a major issue, while 12 believe there is no issue.. Must be the split between pure business users as Micro stated and the more straight up enthusiast user?

Re: Graphics Performance issues?
Damn.. according to this video. Looks like the GSM version Pro has WAY better video drivers than we do. Just look how smooth that it! I went to the same site and its like the other sites.. a bit choppy. What do you all think?

Re: Graphics Performance issues?
I agree. This is a business first, play second type of phone. Considering as much, the TP is still the most feature packed business phone out there IMO. I sure as heck dont install server 2008 so I can play call of duty on it.
