Re: Is there a limit for the size of the microsd in a TP????
16gb is the limit right now. Can't find a 32gb to test anyways. There was a guy on the xda forums that said he got 32gb working but not with a microsd card, with a big sd card, and he cut up his battery cover, it was a mess...

Re: Is there a limit for the size of the microsd in a TP????
The TP can see up to 32GB on external storage. Currently 16GB is the biggest available. There isnt a class 6 16GB microsd yet to my knowledge altho there should be soon. I know toshiba is ready to release one.

Re: Is there a limit for the size of the microsd in a TP????
For the new SDHC high capacity card (2.0) implementation, 22 bits of the identification string are used to indicate the memory size in increments of 512 KBytes. Currently 16 of the 22 bits are allowed to be used, giving a maximum size of 32 GB.
However with a hack a single upgrade to 64gb might be possible, but that would be the absolute limit without another extention to the protocol. The hardware is limited only by the driver. The driver we currently have is SDHC. |

Re: Is there a limit for the size of the microsd in a TP????
To put it simple. 16GB is the largest out that will work. 32GB will likely be the next size and the largest that will be made.
