Just build your own rom with ppckitchen 20xxxxx build. it will go away. Once you build you first ROM, you will realize how stupid easy (RTFM) it is and kind of fun. Or if you don't feel like building one, you can use erice new clean rom, but be prepared to find the youtube.cab and a few others.

If you want to recreate it (not all htc pro does this):
1. Call your HTC using a landline or another cell phone.
2. Answer the call and hang up.
3. Now open your htc to landscape
4. Dialer should show up all the time.
