Re: would u rather have a qvga than a vga tp?

What would you take?
A 17" monitor that is 1280x1024 or a 21" at 1024x768?

I would take the bigger screen with the lower resolution.

Absolutely not. I'd take the higher resolution. With higher resolution screens, you can always increase font size. One of the biggest bitc*es had with my 6700 was viewing PDFs. If you zoom out too far, the text is no longer legible.

Re: would u rather have a qvga than a vga tp?

Funny you should mention it...

I was a tad upset about finding new versions of apps for VGA, but I got over it.

I helped my friend with his Mogul, and I couldn't stand the screen.

Re: would u rather have a qvga than a vga tp?

There is no way I would go back. My friend has a lower quality device (Iphone) and he is drooling over mine and regrets his purchase even with the bigger screen! I'll keep it!

I prefer QVGA, as the VGA screen is so sharp, it makes my eyes bleed!!!

Re: would u rather have a qvga than a vga tp?

I went from a sprint touch to a TP at full retail price for the screen/keyboard/SDHC slot. VGA was the MAIN reason. I gave my dad my touch and he needs reading glasses just to see the qvga screen. I do know many people for whom the higher res is wasted on, due to bad eyes. I would have prefered a 3.5" screen myself, but 2.8 isn't bad, and I have the vision to see it ok.

So you would rather watch 480i TV on a 60 inch TV vs 1080p on a 30 inch?

The picture quality on the 60 inch is worthless

Re: would u rather have a qvga than a vga tp?

Another thing. When I was shocked with my friends iphone cuz of the grainy low res compared to my mogul. I also did a view angle comparinson and to my shock, Pro has a super large view angle. You can literaly still see the display if you hold the Pro flat to your eyes! The iphone loses the view at about half way in being parallel to your sight. Again... I could not believe that I was amazed by the iphones screen. Now ... I fear not. We do have a better, super better lcd. Small.... but incredible.
