It is a regular photo... however the phone saves the GPS coordinates of where you took the picture so that you can look it up when you get home. [or whenever you want]

Re: GPS photo

may want to check into shozu (do a search on here for it and which version to pick for the TP)... recommended by ppl on here, auto-uploads to flickr and other photosites and does geotagging also.

Re: GPS photo

GPS Photo don't write the lat long data to the traditional place. htc probably had a special app in mind and bailed out on the Dev. same issue as the diamond... don't work.

Re: GPS photo

Another great app for this is GPSToday. Runs as a Today plug-in or as a stand alone app and has support for GeoTagging as well as GeoMail, GeoWeather, and GeoLogging. Packs a lot into a small app:

Seems like a nice program but quick question for anyone using this on a touch pro. Do I need to download it as a standalone program since I'm running touchflo3D right? Since it won't be a today plug in. T.I.A

Needs to be a stand alone app on the Touch Pro unless you are using SecondToday or mToday in which case it works great as a Today Plugin on your second Today screen. I installed it as a stand alone on my Touch Pro and then removed it out of Startup programs so it wouldn't run every time I soft reset.

Just open your Windows folder. In it you will find a subfolder called StartUp.
Open that and you will see the shortcut that GPSToday created during its install. Delete the shortcut and your good to go.
