Threaded SMS issue

Hello-

Whenever I get a text and choose to reply, the cursor is set to the top of the history. I have to manually scroll down, then click "Newer" then scroll down that list.

Also, I'm having weird problems where if I open an input method (softkeyboard, TouchPal, anything), scrolling gets messed up, and I have to scroll down yet again. I know what's happening...the window size is shrinking to accommodate the input method, but the scroll position isn't being proportionately adjusted, so I'm stuck 4 or 5 lines higher than before.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this, or better ways of living with it?

what rom are you running? and have you searched that rom thread to see if other people are having similiar problems?
