Re: Anyone experiencing missed calls
Are you guys in areas of low/no reception? That happens to me only in those areas...otherwise, behavior has been normal so far...

Re: Anyone experiencing missed calls
Ok guys, this similar issue has been discussed in multiple threads here and is probably because of tf3d dialer as well as your slot cycle index value being set to 2 by default. Search the forum for SCI or slot cycle index (it's in the essentials sticky thread too) for info on how to change it. You'll need your MSL code (info on that in the essentials as well). By setting your SCI to 1 instead of 2 you'll get rings much quicker and will miss less calls. If you're in a poor reception area this will affect your battery life some (for me I have no issue). Also, if you change to the default wm 6.1 dialer you'll get rings faster (sometimes seconds faster). You may have to download that dialer somewhere. I am running pocketshield and it has an option to use a dialer based on wm6.1 instead of the tf3d dialer. The pocketshield developer says this reduces ram use(8 mb less i think) over the stock tf3d dialer and is much faster for rings.
