movies

Hey everone i was looking over the forums and i cant find anything about how to put movies on to my touch pro and what program do i need if any .... thanks if anyone can help me ...... sorry for being a NOOB

im trying to figure this out too, i know hot to download torrents and all but cant figure out how to resize the damn thing to get on my phone and not take up too much space on my 8gb card...

i made a thread awhile back but it really really confused me...

how can i combine them into one file and resize them down.

open one of the files with "winrar"... extract it to the folder you want and winrar will do the rest, its really less complicated then it looks.

I use a program called "magic video converter" to shrink down the actual file size, then copy to my phone via the sync cable, or by copying directly onto the SD card.

You don't really need to do anything too special to play movies on your phone.

First start off by grabbing a copy of TCPMP recompiled version for Windows Mobile 6.1. My google search returned this link: http://www.4shared.com/file/51243023...omp-03CAB.html

Once installed, any movie you throw at it should play just fine.

If you're looking to rip DVDs, well that's another story...

I use a program called DVDFab Platinum to make "backups" of DVD's. That program will allow you to convert a DVD to many different formats wmv being one, which is what I use. It also allows you to choose frame rates so that you can make the file pretty small or set it to a specific file size.

i just d/l the psp movies from the websites and they play great on the touch. ( i would mention the sites, but i don't know if i can without breaking the rules )
